Loyd Harold Cook, 87, of Wilmore, KY was called home by The Lord on January 30, 2014. He had been a faithful journeyman toward the promise of Heaven since accepting Christ in May 1948, and we all rejoice now to know he is at Jesus' side forever! After serving the Army in World War II, he graduated from Nortonville High School in 1946, and was an employee of Kentucky Utilities for 42 years. Loyd cherished 64 years of marriage to his dearly loved wife, Bettie, and adored his family with a soft yet strong love that will be his legacy. Also having shared in the joy of knowing him is his church family at Wilmore Free Methodist, and several close friends both in Jessamine and Muhlenberg/Hopkins counties.
