Luther "Luke" Winston Moffett Profile Photo

Luther “Luke” Winston Moffett left his earthly home on Tuesday, October 15, 2024. He was born September 26, 1956 to Nancy Leito and the late Charles Moffett.  Luke was a Beloved son, brother and uncle. In addition to his mother he is survived by his brother Clyde Moffett (wife Linda), sisters Lisa Moffett, Lori Collins, Maria Johnson (husband Jason) and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Charles Moffett, step-father Robert Leito, whom he deeply loved, and a nephew Brian Noel.

Luke was originally from Nicholasville, Kentucky but resided in Florida. He was currently retired, and met numerous friends along the way through his business, The Purple Manatee and his time as an Uber Driver.

Luke enjoyed remodeling his home, spending time with his cats, Jessica and Admiral, who he absolutely cherished, and helping people in any way he could. Luke cherished his friends and family most of all, and never met a stranger. If you met Luke, you had a friend for life.

Visitation will be held at Hager and Cundiff Funeral Home on Friday, November 1, 2024 from 10:00AM until time of service at 1:30PM. Services will be officiated by Brother Bill Bales. Luke will be laid to rest in Lexington Cemetery.

This obituary was lovingly submitted by Luke’s family. All arrangements are under the direction of Hager and Cundiff Funeral home, and we would like to express our deepest sympathy to the Moffett family and friends. "Good friends are hard to find and impossible to forget."
