Mae Doris Paddilla, 85, loving mother of Arval “Jerry”, Gary Wayne, and Susan Dianne Durham left her earthly home Sunday March 29, 2020.  She was born May 16, 1934, to the late John G. and Ann Williams Bishop.  Mae was a member of Nicholasville Church of Christ, loved flowers and cooking for her family, as well as being an avid UK Basketball fan. In addition to her children she will be fondly remembered by her daughters-in-law Josephine and Ruth Durham, her six grandchildren Melissa Love, Kevin Durham, Donnie Roberts, Jennifer Bettrain, Danny Roberts, and Richard Durham, her 11 great grandchildren and a great great grandchild, a brother Raymond G. Bishop and his wife Joann, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family members.  She was preceded in death by a brother Adrion Bishop and sister Diane Brooks. The family extends a special Thanks to Debra Ritchie who assisted in the care of Mae, enabling her to spend her last days at home. Visitation will be Thursday April 2, abiding by the request of the Governor to limit visitors to 10 and in keeping a safe distance in order to prevent further spreading of COVID-19.  We at Hager & Cundiff want to honor Mae and her family and are sure her many friends and extended family members will cooperate with the request of health officials of not exceeding more than 10 and only the closest of family. We request you sign her guestbook to leave a memory or message for her family at www.hagerandcundifffunerals.com.

A Private Remembrance Service will be on Friday, April 3, and she will be laid to rest in Maple Grove Cemetery.  Honoring her as casket bearers will be Donnie Roberts, Keegan Landaverde, Kevin Durham, Richard Durham, Greg Lane, and Eric Paycheck. The family requests donations be made to Bluegrass Care Navigators in her memory.  Hager & Cundiff values nothing more than the trust given to us by Mae’s family.
