Majorie Louise Rhorer

Majorie Louise Rhorer, 89, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, Sept. 22, at DiversaCare Nursing Home. She was a native of Jessamine County, born July 2, 1926, to the late Elijah and Ethel Lutes Perkins. She was a member of the Nicholasville Christian Church, where belonged to the Circle, and the Jay Sunday School Class, the Wednesday Morning Prayer Group, and retired clerk of K Mart where she worked for 20 years. She was honored as a Kentucky Colonel. She leaves her memories with her sons who she adored Hugh F. wife Sandi J. and David J. wife Donna J. Rhorer, grandchildren Danielle Rhorer, Brittany Veen, husband James, and Justin Rhorer, wife Brittney, 2 great grandchildren Aiden J. and Cameron J. as well as many special friends. A Remembrance Service will be held 1:00 Friday, Sept. 25, at Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home. She will be laid to rest in Maple Grove Cemetery. Her family will receive friends from 4 to 8 PM on Thursday and from 11:00 AM until time of Service at the funeral home.
