Marcella Barnes

Marcella Barnes, 58, daughter of Elmer Barnes and the late Agnes Johns Barnes entered into eternal rest on Thursday, Feb. 13, at St. Joseph Hospice Care Center. She was a native of Lexington, but lived in Jessamine County her entire life. Marcy was a former employee of Cardinal Health and attended Tabernacle Baptist Church. Her greatest joy was to be with her family as they were her life and her hobby. She was best described as a simple woman. She leaves to cherish her memory her father, children Angela Marie Martin, Ronald Lee Bryant, William A. Bryant, Allen Wayne Bryant, and Stephen Brandon Hope, sisters Frances Lee Stokley husband Ernest, and Connie Sue Laber, brother Jeffery Wayne Barnes, wife Tamara, and the 6 grandchildren she adored. A Remembrance will be held 1:00 PM Monday, Feb. 17, by Rev. Lonnie Moore at Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home.
