Marcia Lee (Brumley) Willoughby

Marcia Lee Brumley Willioughby, 69, left her earthly home on Friday, Feb. 11, 2022, at the UK Hospice Care Center.  Marcia was the daughter of Gus Henry and Marcella Montgomery Brumley, born April 15, 1952 in Cynthiana, Ky. Marcia grew up on Brooks Ave there and later moved with her family to Australia and New Zealand where her father worked. They returned to Lexington where she graduated in 1970 from Bryan Station High School. She was a member of Central Christian Church and loved to travel, decorate, and go looking for antiques.  Marcia had an affection for animals—especially dogs.  She is survived by her brother Don Brumley and special childhood friend Betty Begley.  She will be laid to rest in the Paris Cemetery, where there will be a Graveside Remembrance Service on Feb. 25, at 12:00 Noon.  A gathering of friends will take place at her favorite eatery Sutton’s, 110 Locust Hill Dr. Lexington, Ky at 2:30 PM following the Graveside Service.   “Good friends are hard to find and impossible to forget.” Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home values the trust given to us to care for the cremation arrangements of Marcia.  Sign her guest book at www.hagerandcundifffunerals.com
