Lexington: Mariah Rhiannon Williams-Thorpe Rossman, 26, of Hollow Creek Drive died unexpectedly at her home Monday, April 28. A native of Wisconsin she was born May 27, 1981 to John J. Thorpe and Elisabeth Faye Williams Heafner. Mariah loved music, camping, festivals and nature. A fun loving person she liked bright colors, glitter, and playing with her children. Her talents included playing the flute, painting, and writing poetry. Survivors include her father John Thorpe and wife Vicki of Oklahoma, her mother Elisabeth Heafner and husband Randy, of Tennessee, her husband Paul Kenneth Rossman, children Jonathan Alexander Rossman, and Lola Rain Rossman, 2 sisters Karma Joy Mattison and husband Robert, Nicholasville, Samantha Elisabeth Smith, Tennessee, a brother Jonah Garrett Smith, Tennessee, 2 nieces Echo Joy Thorpe Mattison and Willow Eve Mattison.
Services will be 11:00 AM Sat. May 3 at Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home with Celebrant Diann Cundiff officiating. Inurnment will be at Maple Grove Cemetery at a later date. Visitation will be 4 to 8 PM on Friday, May 2. Donations may be made in her memory to For the Benefit of Johnathon Smith and Lola Thorpe, Central Bank, 301 North Main St., Nicholasville, Ky. 40356. Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home is in charge of cremation arrangements.
