Mark Douglas Rhorer

Mark “ Fuzz” Douglas Rhorer, 66, son of the late Crum and Edith Louise Moody Rhorer entered  into eternal rest on Oct. 18, 2024.  Mark was born April 2, 1958, in Lexington, Kentucky but was a life long resident of Jessamine County. He always worked in construction for SGM and Joe Peel.  Mark loved to hunt and fish and enjoyed being outdoors.  He leaves his childhood memories with brothers Sam Rhorer, Billy Rhorer, wife Rita, and sister Rosemary Rockefeller husband Duane Rockefeller.  He also leaves behind a niece Amanda Rhorer, nephews Jeffery and Gregory Rockefeller, a very special cousin Karen Jo Carroll, as well as his extended family and friends.   A Service of Remembrance will be held on Thursday October 24, at Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home with the family greeting friends from11:00 AM until time of Service.  Mark will be laid to rest in Bluegrass Memorial Gardens following the Service.  Honoring him as pallbearers will be John Quinn, Joseph Linville, Tim Morris, Billy Morris, John Peel, Junior Peel, and Duane Rockefeller.  “Just wanted to let you know, yay, I made it home, and I’ll be the first face you see when you get here!”  All arrangements are under the direction of Hager & Cundiff.
