Martha Louise Meister, 73, loving wife of Alan Edward Meister for 16 years, entered into eternal rest on Friday Dec. 18, at Ephraim McDowell Hospital in Danville, KY.  Martha was a native of Albion, New York, born May 7, 1947, to the late Homer and Clara Babcock.  She was a member of the Trinity Church PCA in Richmond, KY. where she was known as the “Card Lady” because she loved sending cards from the Church to members and their families.  Being very involved with the Church, she was in charge of the Accounts Payable and was always available to help with activities when needed.  Martha was a very creative person and loved to cross stitch, knit, crochet, and needle point as well as adult coloring.  In addition to her husband, she will be fondly remembered by her children Rick Forder, Debra Forder Downs, Brian Forder, wife Cherie, Stephen Forder  and Scott Forder, step children John Meister, wife Lori, Joel Meister. wife Natalie Trisilla, a brother Jess Babcock, wife Cheryl, as well as her 14 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and many other extended family members.  She was preceded in death by her first husband Richard Forder, grandson Richard “Ritchie” Forder and brother Homer Babcock, Jr.  Her family will have a Remembrance Memorial at Trinity Church PCA, 315 Spangler Dr. in Richmond, Ky at 2:00 PM Saturday, January 16, 2021.  You may check back here for updates on their decision. “I would like the memory of me to be a happy one. I would like to leave an after glow of smiles when life is done”.
