Mary L. (Reynolds) Arnsparger

Mary R. Arnsparger, 96, devoted widow of Jewett M. Arnsparger since 2014, entered her heavenly home on Saturday, August 5, 2023.  Mary was born December 3, 1928 in Woodford County to the late Alex and Margaret Reynolds.  Jewett and Mary were married June 15, 1968 in Louisville, and then they moved to Jessamine County in 1973.  Mary was an outgoing and very organized person, which served her well in her job as a grocery store cashier.  She had a weakness for ice cream, and she absolutely loved celebrating Christmas.  She was a faithful member of Brookside Baptist Church.  Mary leaves wonderful memories with her niece Mary Jo Reynolds and her step-children John and Nancy Arnsparger and her Sister Annie Mae Newland.   She was preceded in death by two brothers, James and Benjamin.  A Graveside Service will be held at 12:00 PM Thursday, August 10, 2023 at Blue Grass Memorial Gardens, with burial to follow.  “When our work on Earth is done, God calls us to His side, to live with Him in happiness, where peace and love abide.”  Hager & Cundiff values nothing more than the trust and loyalty shown to us to care for Mary and her family.
