Mary Jane Binette

Mary Jane Binette was born and raised in Belmont, New Hampshire the first child of Emile and Francis Binette. After graduating from high school she went on to become a laboratory technician, a profession she pursued for many years.  Later she worked as compliance auditor for Health Net, a large insurance company in California, where she lived for 30 years before moving to Nicholasville in 2005.  Mary loved to cook and was considered a gourmet in the kitchen.  She also enjoyed her dogs, as she used to show Afgan Hounds.  She leaves her memories with brothers Richard and Donald Binette both of Belmont, New Hampshire, sister Rachel Mitchell of Grand Rapids, Michigan, and several nieces and nephews, as well as her special friend and companion Sylvia Seamands.  In accordance with Mary’s wishes, her cremains will be placed in the Sacred Heart Cemetery, Laconia, New Hampshire where her parents are buried.  This will take place on May 5, 2018.  “Death takes a life, but not a relationship” and Mary had lots of friends that she made over the years.  Hager & Cundiff is proud to be responsible for her cremation.
