Mary Ethel (Burch) Kinney

Mary Ethel Kinney, 83, beloved widow of Richard Kinney since 2017, joined him in eternal rest on Wednesday, May 31, 2023.  She was born August 27, 1939 in Lexa, Arkansas to the late William Homer and Berniece Inez Brown Burch, the only girl of their six children.  Mary enjoyed being outdoors camping and walking.  She also loved bowling and had the perfect job:  working at Jessland Lanes in the Snack Bar and as Scorekeeper.  Mary leaves wonderful memories with her daughter Cynthia Renee Orso, husband Calvin, and her son Kenneth Sterling Kinney, wife Selena, twelve grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, and two brothers—Roy Edward Burch, wife Trudy, and Calvin Herbert Burch, wife Linda.  Besides her husband and parents, Mary was preceded in death by three brothers, Homer Howard Burch, William Roland Burch, and Carl Ernest Burch.  Cremation was chosen, and Mary’s family will gather to greet friends from 1-3 PM Friday, June 9, 2023 at Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home.  “You’ll never forget your mother’s face, the sound of her voice, the lessons she taught and the things she stood for. . . .
