Mary Leslie Smith

Mary L. Smith, 81, widow of Kenneth since 2000, entered into eternal rest in Oak Ridge, TN at the Courtyards Assisted Living on Monday, Oct. 12. Mary was a native of Florida, a retired nurse at Cardinal Hill Hospital and member of the Nicholasville United Methodist Church. She leaves her legacy and memories with sons Dale, wife Shelia, Tim, wife Angel and Barry, wife Rachael, grandchildren Bailey, Sawyer, Brenna Smith, Hannah Kerr, husband Ronald"Tater", Nathan Smith, Lisa Perry, Stephanie Workman, husband Michael, Sheryl Elliott, husband Bryan. and great grandchildren Mikayla, Ayden, and Emily Workman, and Penny and Corbin Elliott as well as a brother William "Bill" Leslie. A Service of Remembrance will be held 1:00 PM Thursday, Oct. 15, at the Church with Pastor Wade Arp officiating. She will be laid to rest beside her husband in Bluegrass Memorial Gardens. Her family will receive friends at the Funeral Home on Wednesday Oct. 14, from 4 to 8 PM. Memorial Contributions may be made to Nicholasville Untied Methodist Church Building Fund.
