Nicholasville: Mary Evelyn Marshall, 89, died Monday, Sept 15, at Royal Manor Nursing Home. She was a native of Independence, Ky. Born Jan. 23, 1919, to the late Joseph B. And Georgia Ballenger Richardson. Evelyn was the widower of William Russell Marshall who died in 1991. She was also a retired employee of Jessamine First Federal, a member of Bethel Christian Church and the Nicholasville Christian Church Circle # 4. She is survived by her daughter Debbie Olson and husband Randy, a granddaughter who was the light of her life Randi Lynn Olson Conn and her husband Travis, a great granddaughter Jenna Marie Conn, and a sister Reva Finnell of Kenton County. She was preceded in death by 3 brothers Wayne, Clyde M. and Lebral F. Richardson.

Services will be 10:00 AM Thurs. Sept 18, at Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Bales officiating. She will be laid to rest beside her husband in Bluegrass Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 PM on Wed. at the funeral home. Contributions may be made in her memory to Bethel Christian Church, Nicholasville Christian Church Circle # 4, or Hospice of the Bluegrass.
