Mary Delina Griffieth Pritchett

Mary Delina Griffieth Pritchett, 79, of Nicholasville entered into eternal rest on Nov. 16, 2016, after a lengthy illness. A native of Nelson County, born March 14, 1937, she was a daughter of the late George and Jessie Hatton Griffieth. She is the widow of Bobby Pritchett who died in 1981, and is survived by 5 daughters, Debbie (Wayne) Humphrey, Cheryl (Billy) Holland, Mary (Dale) Blakeman, Amy (Doug) Fain and Loni Long. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, Jason (Margaret) Humphrey, Emily (Gerald) Wheeler, Joshua (Taylor) Holland, Jaime (Luke) Welch, Jessica Blakeman, Haleigh Fain, Jonathan Fain, Katie Beth Fain and Kaden Dickerson, four great grandchildren, Maci and Ryker Wheeler, Nick Gabbard and Jacob Huff, sisters Betty Oliver, husband Charlie, and Captola “Cappie” Edlin and a brother, Chester Griffieth, wife Vida. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Rhonda Steele Pritchett, a great granddaughter, Delaney Anne Wheeler, six brothers and sisters and her former husband Floyd Long. Services will be 2:00 PM, Friday, Nov. 18th at the Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home. She will be laid to rest beside her husband in Maple Grove Cemetery. Honoring her as pallbearers will be Jason Humphrey, Joshua Holland, Gerald Wheeler, Jonathan Fain, Luke Welch, Anthony Gonzalez, and Nicholas Gabbard. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until time of Service. Flowers are welcome or contributions are suggested to the American Cancer Society, Jessamine County Chapter, 1504 College Way, Lexington, Ky. 40503.
