Wilmore: Mary E. Price Spicer, 82, of High St., died Tues., Feb. 5, at St. Joseph Hospice Care Center. A native of Jessamine County she was born Jan. 30, 1926, to the late Leslie and Emma Dunn Price. She was the widow of Cecil Spicer who died in 1968, a member of Mt. Freedom Baptist Church, and a retired nurses assistant at Central Baptist Hospital. Survivors include her sons Cecil Spicer, wife Margaret and Calvin Spicer, wife Linda, 3 grandchildren Thomas Ray Spicer, James Lee Spicer, and Susan Jean Jackson, and 6 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 2 brothers Chester and Arthur Price.
Services 1:00 PM Friday, Feb. 8, at Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home with Rev. Don Reed and Rev. Leonard Fitch officiating, burial in Wilmore Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Danny Hogue, Lyman Cox, Dan Glass, John Harrod, Gary Hogue, and William Hogue. Visitation from 4 to 8 PM on Thurs., Feb. 7, at the funeral home.
