Maxine Gertrude Lunsford, 77, of Dale Dr. died Wed. Nov. 14, at Central Baptist Hospital. A native of Illinois she was born June 24, 1930, to the late Frank and Mary Sherman Young. She was the widow of Edward Lunsford who died in 2006. Mrs. Lunsford was a member of the Loving Truth Church of God, a dedicated Mother and Grandmother. She is survived by her children Helen Guimond, husband Larry, Alabama, Betty Jalil, husband Mazhar, Ohio, Margaret Brown, husband Larry, Edna Barr, OK., Barbara Fiest, husband Terry, KY., James Lunsford, Nicholasville, John Lunsford, wife Shelia, Nicholasville, Grace Mays, Lancaster, Maxine Logan, husband Tony, CO., Lisa Rice, Lexington, Bill Lunsford, wife Amber, W.V., and Michael Lunsford, Lexington, a sister Marion Gallackner, Michigan, a brother Don R. Young, AZ., 30 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a daughter Mary Jean Clough.

Services will be 1:00 PM Fri., Nov 16, at Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home with Rev. Kenny King officiating, burial in Maple Grove Cemetery. Family members will serve as pallbearers.
