Michael Edward Goe

Michael Edward Goe, 45, widower of Karen Mattingly, left his earthly home on Saturday, June 19, at the UK Hospital, having suffered from heart disease for many years.  He was a native of Jessamine County born Dec. 20, 1975, to Roberta Starnes Spencer and the late Lonnie Goe.  He was self employed in landscaping, loved Halloween, wrestling, building model cars, and hunting for Hot Wheels.  He leaves to cherish his memories with his Mother and children Brittany Mattingly, Alexis Goe and wife Kimberlyn Lykins, Katie Goe, husband Woody Bush, his beloved grandchildren Baylee Lykins, Penelope Gates, Phoenix Gates, Annebelle Day and Nataleigh Phillips, brothers Chris Gilhaus, wife Melanie, Bryan Gilhaus, wife Desiree, and Kevin Austin, as well as many other extended family members.  In addition to his wife and father, he was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother Mary Frances Starnes. The family will greet friends on Friday, June 25 from 11AM until 12:00 noon with a private Graveside Service at 12:30 PM at Wilmore Cemetery with Rev. Bob Carpenter officiating.  Michael's family suggests that donations be made in his memory to help with funeral expenses.
