Michael R. Isaacs Profile Photo

Michael Robert Isaacs, 71, joined his beloved wife Kyle Denise Cline Isaacs in eternal rest on Friday, February 10, 2023.  Michael was born November 20, 1951 in Lexington, KY, the only child of the late Robert Houston and Madeline True Isaacs.  As a child, he was a gifted baseball player, winning an award as one of the best Little League players in Lexington when he was 12 years old.  As a young adult, he enjoyed playing baseball in recreational leagues, where his baseball buddies called him "Cub Bear," until an elbow injury ended his playing days.  Michael was a skilled printer for over 40 years, working at Warner’s Printing in Nicholasville for the last ten years of his career.  He greatly enjoyed teaching his trade to others, including members of his family.  He was a devout Christian and enjoyed listening to K-LOVE constantly, with his favorite song being "Amazing Grace."  Michael was an extremely devoted husband to his dear wife Kyle, looking after her even after her stroke in 2008 until she passed away in 2019, and he loved his children dearly.  He liked yardwork and planting things, adored dogs and cats, enjoyed collecting pens with business names on them to use for his Word Find puzzles, and never met a stranger, even though he considered himself shy.  His daughter described him as sweet, gentle, meek, kind-hearted and always ready to help. Michael leaves wonderful memories with his daughters Leslie Isaacs and Laura Beach.  A Memorial Remembrance Service will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, February 25, 2023 at the KCAL Old Time Radio Theater, 109 South Main Street, Nicholasville.  “If I could write a million pages, I still wouldn’t be able to say, just how much I love and miss my dad—every single day.”  Hager & Cundiff values nothing more than the trust placed in us to care for Michael and his family.
