Michael Scott LeMay entered his eternal peace with the Lord on March 23, 2022. He was born on March 24, 1970 to Dale and Reta (Watts) LeMay and lived most of his life in Lancaster, KY.  He was preceded in death by his beloved father Dale; his sister, Sandy; paternal grandparents, Fred & Tillie LeMay and maternal grandparents, Letcher and Virginia Watts. Michael leaves behind his loving mother Reta; sister Melissa (Jack) Lane; aunts, Helen (LeMay) Monk, Marilyn (LeMay) Shuler & Becky (Watts) Adams.  He will also be missed by nieces and nephews; whether playing or debating, they all loved him dearly: Nicole (Adams) Prewitt, Brandon Lane, Alison Adams, Stephanie Rhoades and Marshall Rhoades, as well as 4 great nieces, and two great nephews. Michael also leaves behind special cousins Tim and Edwin LeMay and childhood friend Scott Bolin. Michael served in the US Army from 1989 – 1992 where he spent two years in Germany as a crew member of the 1-31st Field Artillery Battalion.  As a disabled Veteran, some of Michael’s favorite things were telling stories to his family and friends and especially reading and reciting the Bible and attending church. The family would like to thank Lancaster Baptist Church for always welcoming him into their fold and helping him anyway they could.  Visitation will be Thursday, March 31, 2022, from 12:00 – 2:00 at Lamberts Chapel, 950 Rogers Road, Lancaster, KY. A graveside service and burial will immediately follow at 2:30 at Camp Nelson National Cemetery, with Bro. Matt Cooke officiating.  Psalms 3:8 says “From the Lord comes deliverance.”  Michael finally is at peace.
