Michael Wayne Sowards

Michael Wayne Sowards, 37, left his earthly home unexpectedly on April 4, 2021.  He was a native of Lexington, KY born April 4,1984.  He was a self employed landscaper who loved music, video games, sports, and abstract painting.  He will be fondly remembered by his father and step mother Leonard and Carey Sowards, his mother Donna Moore, brother Matthew David Sowards, aunts and uncles Wendy and Kevin Ellis, Patricia Sowards, Kathy Ann Swards, and Scott Sowards, and cousins Joshua and Nathaniel Ellis.  A Graveside Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, April 10, 2021, at the Lexington Cemetery.  “If ever there comes a time we can’t be together, keep me in your heart. I’ll be there forever.”   Michael's family requests donations be made to the Hope Center in his memory.  Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home values nothing more than the trust given to us to care for Michael.
