Mildred Rader

Mildred Rader, 88, Mother of Paula Harrison and Sue Stafford entered into eternal rest on Friday, Jan. 2, 2015, at Cambridge Nursing Home. She was a native of Pulaski County, KY born May 30, 1926, to the late Herman and Ocal Spaw. She was the widow of William T. Rader who died in 2007. She was a member of Mt. Freedom Baptist Church and had lived in Wilmore since 1958. She loved to quilt, read, work word puzzles and care for her grandchildren. In addition to her two daughters she leaves her memories with grandchildren Carol Cole, Husband David, Brian Stafford, wife Stephanie, and Christi Hack, husband Josh and seven great grandchildren. She is also survived by a brother Dormas Spaw, wife Mathel, as well a several nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by 2 brothers and 2 sisters. A Service of Remembrance will be held 11:00 AM on Tuesday, Jan. 6, at Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home. She will be laid to rest beside her loving husband at 2:00 PM in the Valley Oak Cemetery in Casey County. Her family will greet friends from 4 to 8 PM on Monday, Jan. 5, at the funeral home.
