Milton Edward Wilson, 94, loving husband of Juanita House Wilson for 70 years died Sat. Feb. 2 at Wesley Village in Wilmore. He was a native of Woodford County born Sept 12, 1918, to the late Edward Grant and Myrtle Wilson.

He served as County Judge of Jessamine County for 12 years, was a farmer,ran Hager's Grocery and later opened Wilson's Supermarket. He was a member of the Christian Church and the Kentucky Judge's Association. When he was not busy doing his favorite pastime "working" he loved to fish, play golf, play croquet, and cards with his friends. Being a farmer he attended farm and cattle auctions and raised a garden he could share with friends, neighbors and relatives. He was always ready and available to help others when needed.

In addition to his wife Juanita he is survived by sons Glenn Edward Wilson, wife Julie and Allen Arthur Wilson, grandchildren Carrie Lynn Wilson, Heather Leigh Baker, husband Keith, and James Grant Wilson, great grandchildren Kaleb Nicholas and Hannah Lexi Baker and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a brother Louis Wilson, sisters Willie Mae Johns, Maxie Wells, Belva Hager and Anna Thompson

A Service of Remembrance will be held 1:00 PM Thurs. Feb. 7, at Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home with Rev. Dale Hunt officiating and will be laid to rest in Maple Grove Cemetery. Honoring him as pallbearers will be Shawn Preston, Robert Thompson, Steve Wilson, Bradley Johns, Tommy Welch, Jimmy Wells, Steve Benton and Roy Hill. Honorary bearers are James Grant Wilson, Howard Downing, Sid East, Kenneth Patterson, Danny Roberts, Charles Wilson, Jesse Bruner, and Ron Hale. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 PM on Wed. Feb. 6,and from 11 AM until service time on Thurs. at the funeral home. The family expresses their heartfelt thanks to the staff of Holloway Cottage for their kind and compassionate care.

Flowers are welcome but the family request donations be made in his memory to Jessamine Christian Church or Hospice of the Bluegrass.
