Nicholasville: Nellie Lee Marcum Sims, 83, wife of Benjamin F. Sims died Sat. Jan. 29, at Central Baptist Hospital. She was a native of Pineville, Ky. born Feb. 23, 1927, to the late Chester and Maude Miller Marcum. She and her husband Ben were formerly of Somerset where they enjoy many hours of boating and fishing together. Nellie was also a former Medical Assistant for Charles Preston, Freidman and Copeland. She is survived by a daughter and her husband Dave and Belinda Wash, a brother Glen Morgan Marcum, wife Norma Jean and 4 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son Edward B. Hinkle, and a brother and sister. She has chosen cremation and her ashes will be interred at Camp Nelson National Cemetery. Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home was selected for arrangements.
