Norma Jean Belcher, 86, loving mother of Deanna Adams, husband Jack, and Norman Belcher, wife Sharon, left her earthly home on Friday August 11, 2023, at Frankfort Regional Medical Center. She was a native of Nicholasville, KY, born August 12, 1936, to the late Arthur Norman and Rosa Sunbeam Walker Hamm.  Norma was a retired employee of Proctor & Gamble where she worked in Quality Control.  She spent many years in the production of JIF Peanut Butter. She loved farming and at 82 years old was still raking hay. Norma Jean was a hard-working woman who enjoyed watching westerns, eating chocolate and spending time with her companion (“her boyfriend”) of 34 years, Willis Hays going to Auctions.  She was a member of the Nicholasville Church of Christ where she attended for many years.  In addition to her daughter, son, and companion, she will be fondly remembered by her grandchildren Desisreè Richardson, husband Danny Jr., Abra Adams, and Megan Corman, husband Chris, and great grandchildren Blaine Richardson, Jettlyn Spencer, Trent Matthew Burgis, Alena and Bentley Edgington.  Norma was preceded in death by a granddaughter Amber Spencer, cousins who were like her brothers Harold Grow, James Harvey Adams, and Charles David Dean.  A Funeral of Remembrance will be held Tuesday, August 15 at 2:00 PM at Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home. Following, she will be laid to rest in Maple Grove Cemetery.  The family will greet friends beginning at 11:00 AM until time of Service.  Donations may be made in her memory to Bluegrass Care Navigators.   “Your Mother will always lie in your heart and memories.  May you find Comfort in her soft presence all around you.”  Hager & Cundiff values nothing more than the trust and loyalty given to us by the Belcher Family to care for the arrangements of Norma Jean.
