Ollie Harrison McMillen, 82, husband of Emily Jean McMillen for 62 years passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, June 30 surrounded by his loving family. A native of Jessamine County he was born June 2, 1930, to the late Ollie Clay and Lela Grow McMillen.

Harrison was a US Army veteran, retired electrician, and an active member of the Blue Grass Sportsman Club, Muzzle Loaders. In addition to his wife Jean he is survived by a daughter Julia Harrod, husband John, son Steve McMillen wife Sherry, grandchildren Oliva Tudor, husband Chauncey, Emily Horn, husband Jeremy, Micah McMillen wife Autumn and Josh McMillen, wife Maki, great grandchildren Hayden and Sam Horn, Carter and Hadley McMillen, Brody and Beau Tudor, a sister Jane Woodward, Hopkinsville and a brother David Lee McMillen, Wilmore. He was preceded in death by a brother Samuel Clay McMillen and a sister Phyllis Grow McMillen.

A Service of Remembrance will be held 100 PM Friday, July 6, at Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home officiated by Rev. Mike Synder. He will be laid to rest in Camp Nelson National Cemetery.

Honoring him as pallbearers will be Micah and Josua McMillen, Jeremy Horn, Chauncey Tudor. Honorary bearers will be Glen Teater, Marvin Inman, Phillip Stewart, Archie Hillar, Hugh Henkle, Mark Murphy, Phillip Williams and members of the Blue Grass Muzzle Loaders.
