Patricia "Patti" Ann (Curry) Powell

Patricia Ann “Patti” Powell, 53, loving wife of Robert L. Powell for 16 years, left her earthly home on Feb. 22, 2018.  Patti was a native of Louisville, KY born July 24, 1964, to the late Paul and Marjorie Curry.  She was a former employee of BGADD, where worked as a caregiver.  Patti always loved taking care of people and would take anyone into her home to help them out until they could stand on their own. She loved to cook, bake and take care of her husband. She especially loved taking care of her grandchildren Shania, Travis, Jacob, Nathaniel, Elijah, Wyatt, Presley Ann and Maverick but never turned down the opportunity to do for daughters Shannon Connors,Heather Gilpin, husband Michael and Stevi Connors as well as son Justin Christopher Powell.  She leaves her childhood memories with sisters Cheryl McWilliams and Diana Taylor, husband John and brothers Paul, Jr. and Michael Curry.  She will be missed by her nieces and  nephews as well as her many friends and extended family members.  She was preceded in death by a brother Gerald Monroe.  A Remembrance Memorial will be held 6:00 PM Friday, March 2, and the family will greet visitors starting at 5:00 PM before the Memorial.  Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home is honored to take care of Patti's family.
