Paul Robards Austin, 52, left his earthly home on Monday, April 24. Paul was a man who enjoyed his work as a brick mason and used his creativity to construct various items such as a backyard pond. In his spare time he played golf usually at Connemara and could be found playing a quick game of billiards. Paul is survived by his father Fred Austin, twin sons Daniel and Dean Austin both of Tennessee, the love of his life for the past 18 years Vicky Capps and her children who he helped raise as his own Julie Garver, Emily Capps, Jeremy and Bobby Martin, sisters Mia Austin, Valerie Preston, and Gina Austin, bothers William Austin, Christopher Zaumeyer, Jason Austin, Stephen Austin and Justin Austin, as well as a grandson Caiden Abney. He was preceded in death by his mother Sonja Wilson. His family will hold a balloon release 7:00 PM Friday, April 28, at Lake Mingo in his honor and a Memorial Remembrance with a scattering of cremains will take place on Saturday, April 29, at Bear Track Lake Adventures, 580 Bear Track Lake Rd., Beattyville, KY. Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home is honored to assist the family with cremation arrangements.
