Nicholasville: Paul Douglas Ketron, 68, of Lancaster died at his home on Tuesday, April 6. Paul was a native of Fayette County born Dec. 29, 1941, to Dolly Hamm Perkins and the late Ted W. Ketron. He was a member of Wesley Chapel, the Jessamine County Antique Farm Machinery Association, the Central Ky. Antique Machinery Association, former employee of the L & F Cigarette Company and had worked for Kroger in Nicholasville as a dairy and produce clerk for several years. He is survived by his wife Arlene K. Duncan Ketron who he married in 1999, his mother and step father Dolly and Edward Perkins, 2 sons David and Daniel C. Ketron, 2 step children Karen Kirkes and Jeffery Dale Sanders, wife Cheryl, 2 granddaughters Tarah Christian Ketron and Autumn Samantha Ketron and 2 step grandchildren Stephanie Crosby, husband Duncan and Jeremy Sanders, wife Kelsey. He was preceded in death by a brother Charlie Perkins.

Services will be 1:00 PM Friday, April 9, with Tim Sundry, Scott Buck, and Larry Goldey officiating, burial in Maple Grove Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Doug Beckstead, Frazor Duncan, Mason Howard, Billy Fount House, Ron Thatxon and Larry Casey. Honorary bearers will be Robert Bell, Troy Sparks, Tom Field, Tarah Ketron, Harry Fryman, Donna Smith, and Shonna Stinnett. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 PM on Thurs. at the funeral home. Contributions may be made in his memory to Heritage Hospice of Danville.
