Lancaster: Paul Ratliff, 65, of Fields St., died Sun. Oct. 12, at Central Baptist Hospital. A native of McCarr, Ky., he was born Feb. 6, 1943, to the late Henry and Thelma Dotson Ratliff. He was a US Army veteran, a newly appointed Kentucky Colonel, and a route developer for Voortman Cookies.
Paul loved camping, cooking, discussing politics and held a Black Belt in Karate. Survivors include his wife of 27 years Darlene S. Ratliff, children Tammi Holbrook, husband Chip, Grayson, Kimberly Ratliff, Lexington, Justin Ratliff, Richmond, and Joshua Ratliff, Lancaster, his mother in law Kathleen Salmons, 3 brothers, 4 sisters, numerous nieces and nephews and his extended family of brothers and sisters in law. He was preceded in death by a sister and brother.
Graveside Service will be held 1:30 PM Fri. Oct. 17, at Camp Nelson National Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Justin and Joshua Ratliff, Jon Vaughn, Bob and Jeff Swartz, and Jared Salmons.
