Pauline Underwood Hollis

Pauline Underwood Hollis, 92, of Nicholasville,KY. formerly of Murfeesboro, TN., died Fri., Dec. 19, at the Northpointe Health Care Center in Lexington after an extended illness. A native of Tennessee she was born April 19, 1916, to the late John William and Virginia V. McClaran Underwood. She is the widow of John Hollis who died in 1996 and a member of the Westview Church of Christ. Survivors include her daughter Jean Whitmore, husband John, brother Dr. Donald B. Underwood, Redmond, Washington, granddaughter Vicki Heilig, Nicholasville, great granddaughter Misty Ogden Woolwine, husband Scott, 2 step granddaughters Kris West, Nashville, and Karin Whitmore, Lexington, 2 great-great granddaughters Emma Grace and Mallory Adele Woolwine, 3 step great grandchildren Ashleigh and Joshua West and Sophia Abner-Whitmore. She was preceded in death by a brother John W. Underwood, Jr. and sister Stella O’Donnell.

Services will be 11:00 AM CST on Tues. Dec. 23, at the Woodfin Chapel in Murfeesboro, burial in Roselawn Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 PM CST at the Woodfin Chapel on Mon., Dec. 22 and on Sat. Dec. 20 at Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home from 3 to 6 PM.
