Pauline Russell

Pauline Russell, age 85, of Lexington, Kentucky died peacefully and was reunited with the Lord on October 2, 2022.  Pauline was born July 25, 1937, in Hindman, Kentucky.  She is preceded in death by her parents, Johnny Russell and Drucilla Siller Stidham; her brothers, Marion, Mack, Jay, Bill, and Charlie; sisters, Pearlie, Lola, Cinda, and Sally; children, Anthony Turner, Billie Gilbert, Charlotte Adkins, Lester Turner, and Pearletta Turner; one daughter-in-law, Tina Turner; and grandchildren Jessika, David, Kendall, and Jessica.

Pauline was a beloved Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Great, Great Grandmother, Aunt, and friend to many.  She is survived by three sons; Michael Turner (Nancy), Jonathan Turner (Linda), and Sonny Turner, all of Lexington, Kentucky, as well as 16 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren, 9 great, great grandchildren, multiple nieces and nephews, and extended family.

A fiercely devoted Mother and life-long Christian, Pauline was most proud of her large family and extended family.  Everyone was welcome at her home and her table!  Her greatest passion was first and foremost her Faith.  She attended Bless the Lord Church in Lexington, KY.  Pauline retired from Baptist Health Hospital after serving as the Housekeeping Coordinator and Trainer for 25 years.  She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.  She will be remembered for her complete faith in Christ and her fierce love for her family.

Her family will greet friends from 11:30 AM-12:30 PM on Thursday, October 6, 2022 at Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home, 207 W. Oak St., Nicholasville, KY 40356, followed by a Graveside Service at 1:00 PM at Maple Grove Cemetery, 500 N. Main Street, Nicholasville, KY 40356.
