Philip Howard Wager, 77, of Longview Dr. Lexington, died Tuesday, Oct. 26, at Thomson-Hood Veterans Center in Wilmore. A native of Chicago, IL. He was born Jan. 18, 1933 to the late Harry D. and Gladys Edwards Wager. He was a retired driver for Consolidated Freightliner, a veteran of the US Army serving with the Airborne Rangers in Korea, a member of Chapel Hill Presbyterian Church, and the Veteran of Foreign Wars. He is survived by his children including Tracy Ellerbe of Lexington, his grandchildren .a brother and a sister,
A tribute to honor his life will be held at Camp Nelson National Cemetery on Nov.12, at 11:00 AM which will include military honors. Donations may be made to Hospice of the Bluegrass or Thomson-Hood Veterans Center, Wilmore. Our funeral home was honored to provide cremation services to the family.
