Phillip Austin "Phil" Ladden

Phillip Austin Ladden, 85, left his earthly home Wednesday, May 5, 2021, at Thomson-Hood Veterans Center in Wilmore.  He was born in Russell Point, Ohio, to the late James Charles and Lillian Boudrie Ladden.  Phil was a proud U.S. Army veteran, having served from 1955-1957.  He was also a skilled plumber.  He was married to the late Jean Louise Silverstein Ladden for 55 years until she entered eternal rest in 2016.  Phil and Jean lived a happy life in Phoeniz, AZ for 40 years.  He then lived with his son Steve and his family in Shelbyville, KY for four years, before moving to Thomson-Hood to receive excellent care.  Phil leaves treasured memories with his four sons, Steve, Barry, Scott, and Phil J. and their families.  No services have been scheduled at this time.  “If there ever comes a day where we can’t be together, keep me in your heart.  I’ll stay there forever.”  Hager & Cundiff values nothing more than the trust placed in us to care for Phil and the Ladden Family.
