Raleigh "Pete" Eugene Samples, 50, native of Manchester, KY, born June 11, 1966, to Martha Samples Presby and the late Raleigh Campbell, and husband of Judy Collins, left his earthly home on Friday, March 24. He was a handyman who loved landscaping and collecting knives. In addition to his Mother and wife, he is survived by 5 step children, 4 sisters Becky Burt, Renee Sosby, Lucy Deaton, Paula Sullivan and a brother, Oren Deaton. He is preceded in death by a sister Rhoda "Floopy" Deaton, a brother Robert Samples, and his maternal grandmother, Rhoda Samples. A Memorial Remembrance will be held at 3:00 PM Thursday, March 30, at Ignite Church, 996 North Main St, Nicholasville. Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home is honored to assist the family with cremation.
