Nicholasville: Raymond Kiger, 81, of Churchill Crossing formerly of Savannah, Georiga died Tuesday, Nov17, at St. Joseph Hospital. A native of Fayette County he was born March 31, 1928, to the late Dan and Alpha Noble Kiger. He retired from the US Air Force as Chief Master Sergeant and later retired from General Dynamics (Gulfstream). He was a resident of Savannah, Georgia for 50 years where he was a member of the American Legion and the VFW. He is survived by his wife Elayne M. Adams Kiger, step children , Mitchell Adams, wife Sabrina, Linda Adams Young, husband Tommy, and David Adams, wife Libby, a brother George W. Kiger, wife Joann, TX, sister in law Tommie Kiger, IN., 4 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister Jewell Hiler and brother Tommy Kiger.
Services will be held 1:30 PM Thurs., Nov. 19, at Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home, burial will be in Camp Nelson National Cemetery. Pallbearers will be John, Rick, and Junior Hiler, David, Mitchell, and Sabrina Adams, and Tommy Young. Visitation will be from 12:00 noon until time of service on Thurs. Nov. 19.
