Reed Brown, 72, brother of John D Brown, wife Lou and James T. Brown, Jr. wife Patsy, passed away at the home of his son Chris in Knoxville, TN Friday, Oct. 11. Reed was raised in Cropper, KY and was a graduate of Shelbyville High School. He was born June 16, 1941, to the late James T.,Sr. and Jessie Sanders Brown, He was a retired employee of L & N Railroad and Churchill Downs, a US Air Force veteran, and a Kentucky Colonel. In addition to his brothers he leaves to cherish is memory a daughter Rebecca Lillian Keith, sons Christopher Reed Brown, wife Debby, and Stephen Boyd Brown, wife Denise, grandchildren Tristan, Chase, Molly, Matthew, Anna, and Andrea Brown, great grandchildren Jacob Sair, Madison and Mallory Cornish, step sisters Freda Chapman and Judy Dinson, and numerous nieces and nephews A Service of Remembrance will be held on Wed.
