Wilmore: Richard P. Reynolds, 82, widower of Anna Frances Rice Reynolds, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, Nov. 28, at Thomson-Hood Veterans Center after an extended illness surrounded by his family. A native of Jessamine County he was born on June 20, 1928, to the late Tolbert and Nettie Long Reynolds. He was a graduate of Wilmore High School, a veteran of the US Army serving in the Korean War, a retired employee of IBM, and member of Wilmore Christian Church. Dad loved his family and friends, enjoyed farming, raising his garden, and was an avid baseball fan. Survivors include a daughter Debbie Bellman, husband Chris, son Steven Reynolds wife Chari, grandsons Douglas and Michael Reynolds and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister Adelene Adams and her husband Holman(Buck), brothers William K. and George T. Reynolds, nephews Bobby Adams and Bruce Curtsinger, sister in law and brother in law Clarice June and Harlet Curtsinger.

Services will be 11:30 AM Thurs. Dec. 2, at Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home with Rev. James Thobaben officiating. He will be laid to rest with his wife at Camp Nelson National Cemetery with Military Honors. Honoring him as pallbearers will be Steven, Douglas, and Michael Reynolds, Chris Bellman, George Adams, and George Harris. Honorary bearers will be Becky Arvin, Susie Harris, Donald Reynolds, and Bobby Rice. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 PM on Wed. Dec. 1, at the funeral home. The family wishes to thank the wonderful and loving staff at Thomson-Hood Veterans Center and Hospice of the Bluegrass for their amazing and outstanding care, devotion, gentleness, kindness, and compassion extended to our Dad and family through-out his residency and final days. Contributions may be made in his memory to Hospice of the Bluegrass.
