Nicholasville: Logan Reynolds, 83, of East Maple St., died at VA Hospital on Cooper Drive Sat., April 14. A native of Jessamine County he was born August 25, 1923, to John and Mary Tudor Reynolds. Logan entered into the Navy in April of 1943 and was discharged in Jan. 1946. He was a very patriotic person and was very proud to have served his country. He was a self employed plumber for many years. He loved to hunt, fish, and was always appointed to be the cook on these outings as he was truly a talented chef. Logan was especially fond of people and became a caregiver for many friends and was always happy to baby sit his great grandchildren. He is survived by his daughter Marilyn Welch, and her Mother Vedis Hager Reynolds, granddaughter Kelly Sue Combs and husband Rad, their children Alex and Bailey, Mark Aaron Welch who considered him as a grandfather, nieces Georgia Lunsford and husband Terry, Doris Kenny and husband Joe, and Janie Cecil, great nieces and nephews, Andrea and Terry Logan Lunsford, John Everett and Michael Kenny, and Kristie Cecil Sturgill and husband Chad.
His daughter and granddaughter will host a Celebration of his live at Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home on Mon., April 15, and will begin receiving friends at 4:00 PM. Doug Fain will deliver the Eulogy at 7:00 PM. Graveside Services will be Tues., April 16, at the Camp Nelson National Cemetery.
