Roberta Maxine (Wise) Holmes

Roberta “Bobbie” Maxine Holmes, 93, widow of Robert Gustav Holmes since 2014. joined her husband in eternal rest on Saturday March 14, 2020. *(See updated Service information below.)* She was a native of Middletown, Connecticut born Dec. 18, 1926, to the late Robert V. and Leona M. Johnson Wise.  She was a retired employee of University of Kentucky where she was a Budget Officer.  She met and married the love of her life in 1946 and they worked together for The Gilead and Missionary work in Peru, lived at one time on Old Cape Cod, before moving to Lexington and then becoming homeowners in Nicholasville.  She was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness where she spent time practicing her faith and ministering to others.  In her spare time she loved to needlepoint.  Cremation was chosen by Bobbie and she will be laid to rest with her husband in Camp Nelson National Cemetery.
