Robert "Bob" Preston Morris, Jr.

Robert "Bob" Preston Morris, Jr., devoted husband of Beverly Carol Morris, left his earthly home Saturday, December 2, 2023.  He was born March 21, 1945, in Cumberland Gap, Maryland to the late Robert Preston, Sr. and Retha Simmons Morris.  Bob retired from the US Army as a Sergeant Major after 23 years of dedicated service. While serving, he was a member of the All-Army Rifle Team where he competed and won numerous marksmanship awards and National Matches.  He loved hunting in the woods of West Virginia with his cousin where his ancestral land was located. In addition to his beloved wife, he leaves a lifetime of memories with his son Brad Morris, grandchildren Justin Foust, Lucie Foust Williams, Jackson Morris, Walker Morris, Colton Morris, and Julianna Morris, and great-grandchildren Archer and Major Williams.  He was preceded in death by his daughter, Rhonda Morris.  Services will be scheduled at a later time.  Bob would want everyone to remember how much he loved his family, and how proud he was of all of them.
