Roy B. Miller, 93, widower of Martha Kirby Miller, died Tuesday, March 15, at the St. Joseph Hospice Care Center. A native of Jessamine County he was born Feb. 26, 1918, to the late Willard and Anna Belle Stinnett Miller. He was a life long member of Mt. Beulah United Methodist Church where he served as Sunday School Superintendent, was a Lay Leader for several years, and for over 46 years as song leader. He was a former president of the Jessamine County United Methodist Men. As a young man he attended Pollard School served in the Civil Conservation Corp for which he did his basic training in Ft. Knox. He also began cutting hair in Pollard at a young age and later worked with Clem May on Main Street in Nicholasville during which time he became a licensed barber. Roy was a retired supervisor for R J Reynolds Tobacco Company. He is survived by his daughter and her husband Phyllis and Charles Preston, a son and his wife Bobby and Donna Miller, grandchildren Greg Preston, wife Cindy, Stephen Miller wife Aimee, John Thomas Miller and fianc
