Ruby B. Figg Sanders

88, died Thurs., Feb. 9, 2006 at Kenton Health Care Center. A native of Jessamine County , she was born Aug. 12, 1917 to the late Dave and Kate McIntosh Baker. She was the widow of Russell Figg who died in 1973 and of O.F. Sanders who died in 1995. Ruby was a member of Mt. Freedom Baptist Church and RSVP.

Survivors include her children Alma Jean Phillips and husband Cleve of TN, Howard Ray Figg and wife Patti, Robert Glenn Figg and wife Nancy all of Nicholasville, a brother Ralph Baker of GA, 3 grandchildren Robert Mac Figg, Stacy Lynn Hager, Kayla Anne Figg, and 2 step grandchildren Robert Phillips, and Sherrie Hutchison both of TN. She was preceded in death by a son Gary Lynn Figg.

Services were held Mon., Feb. 13, 2006, at HAGER & CUNDIFF FUNERAL HOME, on Oak St. , Rev. Don Reed officiated, burial was in Bluegrass Memorial Gardens. Friends and family served as pallbearers. Visitation was Feb. 12, 2006 at the funeral home. Family asked that donations be made in her memory to Jessamine Co. Senior Citizens and Hospice of the Bluegrass.
