Rubye Mae Corman

Rubye Mae Masters Corman, 79, loving wife of Carl Corman, Jr. for 62 years died at her home Friday, Feb. 8. She was a native of Jessamine County born April 11, 1933, to the late Joe and Mabel Frances Puckett Masters.

She was a member of the Nicholasville United Methodist Church and had attended Jessamine County Senior Adult Day Care for several years. Rubye loved taking care of her flowers and having a garden planted each year.

In addition to her husband Carl she is survived by her children Carlotta Issac, husband Calvin, Clay Thomas Corman, wife Jane, Tammie Lynn Horton, husband George, Loucindy Cartwright, husband David, and Angelia Davis, husband Rodney, 13 grandchildren Carl Thomas Corman, Christopher Clay Corman, wife Jennifer, Micheal Stephens, husband Brian, J.W. Corman, Derek Shane Issac, wife Courtney, Carlotta Lynn McCullar, husband Nathan, Albert Brent McCullar, Michael Grant McCullar, Joseph Lynn Cartwright, wife Cheri, Kristin Mae Cartwright, Gregrey Lee McClean, Jeffrey Lyle McClean, and Mark Ethan Stewart, and 10 great grandchildren along with many extended family members.

She was preceded in death by a brother Tommy Masters and grandson Steven Wayne Cartwright.

A Service of Remembrance will be held 11:00 AM Monday, Feb. 11, at Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Snyder officiating. She will be laid to rest in Maple Grove Cemetery. Honoring her as pallbearers will be her grandsons. Honorary bearers will be Terry Lunsford, Terry Logan Lunsford, Cecil "June" Humphrey, Kevin Adams,Willie Reed, and her granddaughters.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 7 PM on Sunday, Feb. 10, at the funeral home. Donations may be made in her memory to Hospice of the Blue Grass.
