Nicholasville: Ruth Earl Forrest, 84, died Sat. Sept. 30, 2006, at her residence. She was a native of Indiana, born August 28, 1922 to the late James Carrier and Dixie Emery Carrier. She was the widow of Richard E. Forrest, who died in 2001. Ruth is survived by Betty Pitts and husband John, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by 4 sisters, Mary Davis, Elizabeth ‘Katie’ Carrier, Louise Corman, Elsie Cook Sabottke, 5 brothers, James E. ‘Jake’ Carrier, Frank Thomas ‘Dobby’ Carrier, William ‘Bill’ Carrier, Russell Carrier, and Harold Carrier.
Services will be 2:00PM Tues., Oct. 3 with burial in Maple Grove Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Ronald Downs, Billy Anderson, Jonathan Robinson, Greg Vance, Paul McCarty, David Hamilton, William Gill, and Butch Lay.
