Nicholasville: Ruth L. Miller, 78, of Gravel Switch, formerly of Nicholasville, died Friday, May 4, at the Danville Center for Health & Rehabilitation. A native of Jessamine County she was born Aug. 13, 1928, to the late Johnny and Ida Mae Underwood Bruner. She was the widow of George Miller who died in 1990. She had been a dairy farmer ,homemaker, and a devoted Mother and Grandmother. She attended the Sycamore Church of Christ. Survivors include a daughter in law Betty Jo Miller, a sister Geneva Blakeman, AZ., grandson Mike Miller and wife Janie, 2 great grandchildren T.J. and Todd Miller all of Gravel Switch, a close family friend Billy Joe Hays, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son Johnny Miller in 2001, 3 brothers and 2 sisters.

Services will be 1:00 PM Tues., May 8, at Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home, burial in Maple Grove Cemetery. Nephews will be pallbearers and honorary pallbearers. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 PM Mon. May 7 at the funeral home.
