92, of Jewell Rd. died Wed., April 12, at Royal Manor Nursing Home. A native of Jessamine County he was born May 19, 1913, to the late Philip Forbes and Lizzie Lee Harvey Johns. He was a lifelong farmer and a Rawleigh Home Products salesman for many years.

Survivors include his wife of 65 years Willie Mae Wilson Johns, a daughter Carolyn Mae Worthington, Wilmore, a son Bradley Sanders Johns and wife Donna Leitch, Nicholasville, son-in-law Harold Hill, Fl., 3 granddaughters Robin Michelle Pyle, Ohio, Audra Marie Meman and husband Matt, Lexington, and Mary Lynn Johns, Nicholasville, 4 grandsons, Ashley Bernard Hill, Stephen Russell Hill both of Fl., Christopher Ryan Johns and wife Gina and Andrew Michael Johns and wife Rebecca both of Nicholasville, 2 great grandsons , Anthony Michael Pyle and Luke Sanders Johns, a great granddaughter Michelle Ann Pyle, along with numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a daughter in 1988, Annetta Jean Hill, 3 sisters Lottie Rhorer, Susie Burton, and Erlene Fletcher, and 2 brothers Philip and Edward Johns.

Services will be 11:00 AM Sat., April 15, at HAGER & CUNDIFF FUNERAL HOME, W. Oak St., with Rev. Terry Flewelling officiating, burial in Wilmore Cemetery. His grandchildren will serve as Pallbearers and the nieces and nephews will serve as Honorary Pallbearers. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 PM Fri., April 14, at the funeral home. Contributions may be made in his memory to Hospice of the Bluegrass.
