Sandra Hardin Brothers, 70, devoted wife of Thomas C. Brothers for 48 years, joined her parents Jack Waller and Jean Hardin Waller as well as her sister Jackie Edwards and brother Wally Waller in eternal rest after a lengthy illness. She was one of five children of Jack and Jean, born April 14,1953. Sandi was a native of Highbridge, Kentucky and member of the GCF Church in Wilmore. She loved horses and was self-employed in the horse industry, working as a groom and caring for many horses during her employment at different farms. She also loved collecting many items and traveling to the beach and the Smokey Mountains. She loved pigeons because they couldn’t fly as well as silky chickens for the same reason. Sandi was a family person who loved her children Shane Edward Brothers, wife Debbie, and Carla Nell Hampton, husband Nathan, grandchildren Tristan Brothers, Robert Colin Hampton, and Aiden Brothers, as well as her sisters Lorin Waller, Marla Polen and Virginia Kay Disponett. She will be fondly remembered by numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members and friends. A Remembrance Memorial will be held l:00 PM Nov 16, at the GCF Church with Rev. Jason Duncan officiating. Inurnment will take place at Camp Nelson National Cemetery at 2:30 PM following the Service. The family will greet friends and relatives beginning 12:00 Noon at the Church. “The most important thing is, even when we’re apart, I’ll always be with you.” Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home values nothing more than the loyalty and trust given to us by Sandi’s family.
