Sarah Loretta Holley, 75, widow of Herschel Herman Holley since 2004, left her earthly home on Dec. 23, 2019.  She was the daughter of the late Claude and Hazel Frances Himes Johnson.  She was born and lived her entire life on Camp Daniel Boone Road in Jessamine County.  She loved people and had a passion for working. A former teacher of Head Start, employed as a Hostess at Waffle House, but most of all enjoyed going to the creek to get rock with her son Kenny.  She will be fondly remembered by her children Kenneth H. Crutcher, Jr., Jeff Crutcher, wife Julie, Tina Garcia, husband Jesus, Becky Crutcher, and Jason Bowling, wife Shannon. and sister Shirley Masters as well as her 11 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by brothers Johnny Himes, Harley, Curtis, and Darrell Johnson and sister Marilyn Drury.  A Remembrance Service will be held 1:30 PM Friday, Jan. 3, at Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home.  She will be  laid to rest in Camp Nelson National Cemetery with her husband Herschel.  Honoring her as pallbearers will be Kenneth Crutcher, Jr., Jeff Crutcher, Jason Bowling, Kenneth Crutcher III, Thomas Crutcher, Brian Hiles, Terry Burton and Allen Reynolds.  Honorary bearers will be Jesus Garcia, Tim Masters, and Lalo Rodriguez.  Her family will greet friends beginning at 5:00 PM and ending at 8:00 PM on Thursday, Jan. 2 at the funeral home.  “ When the sun has set for me, miss me, but go to the friends we know, and bury your sorrows in doing good deeds.”  Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home values nothing more than the trust given to us Loretta’s family.
