Sheila Juan McCuddy, 72, of Nicholasville, died Monday, Oct. 31, at Royal Manor Nursing Home. Sheila was the loving wife for 50 years of Lin McCuddy and devoted Mother of 2 sons Mitchell Lindsay McCuddy and Duane Andrew McCuddy. She was a native of Jessamine County born May 26, 1939, to the late Andrew and Geneva Reynolds Becknell. Sheila was a graduate of Nicholasville High School, served as Deputy Clerk in the Jessamine County Clerk’s office for 15 years before retirement, and a member of Edgewood Baptist Church. Her biggest joy was her grandchildren and attending their activities. In addition to her husband and sons she is survived by 7 grandchildren Samantha Jo, Chase , Andrew, Brett, Ethan, and Lindsay McCuddy and Austin White, a sister Phyllis Muncy, an aunt Eudel Kurtz, special cousins Jean Miller and Elizabeth Ann Watts, along with many other close relatives.

A service honoring her life will be held 12:00 noon Thursday, Nov. 3, at Edgewood Baptist Church with Rev. Steve Scholar and Rev. Bobby Becknell officiating, burial in Maple Grove Cemetery. Honoring her as pallbearers will be Chase, Brett, Ethan, Jason , and Michael McCuddy and Brent Muncy. Honorary bearers will be David Brown, Greg Woolums, Perry Walters, Gary Goldey, Paul Adams, Dean Anness, Mark Cassity, Frankie Hubbard, and Mark Corman. Visitation will be from 3 to 8 PM Wednesday, Nov 2, at Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home.
